I had the great honor to spend the day with Horiyoshi 3 on his birthday in Yokohama last week. I consider that day an extremely important day that I won’t forget. I came up in tattooing in the 90’s before internet and google. We had books, magazines, and stories… Horiyoshi 3 was in all three of those things, so I knew of him from the beginning of my tattoo career. I am thankful for the friendships I have made along my lifes journey and I’m thankful that I keep making more. Thank You Compton David, Yoshi, and Horiyoshi for your friendship.
